Plasma TV

                             LG 50" 1080p 600Hz Plasma HDTV 50PV400

I have had my LG 50" 1080p 600Hz Plasma HDTV 50PV40 for around a month now and have come too love it. The absolute greatest feature in this HDTV is the anti-burn option, which can be turned on in the settings. What separated plasmas from the more expensive LCD or LED TV’s is the fact that images can be burned into your plasma TV. That is no more, with LG’s new Smart TV’s you can program them so they have the absolute greatest potential.  This TV deserves a 10/10 and I will tell you why.  The Screen is no more than an inch thick and with a 50 inch TV that is quite a feat. The set up on this TV was ridiculously easy and even the most lacking people could install it. The picture is excellent quality for a plasma TV and plays blue ray in tremendous quality. The sound on the TV sounds like brand new speakers and are THX certified. The border on the TV is a nice matte black and does not reflect any light. This TV also offers 2 component slots which makes it a gaming compatible TV and is very convenient if you have more than one gaming console. The TV also gets really bright, I might go blind if I stare at it too long. Some Cons the TV has is that, there are no USB or internet ports which could prove useful for using Netflix and such. The colors/picture needed to be adjusted out of the box to make it look beautiful.  The glossy finish on the screen makes for bright lights to be reflected very easily and making them quite annoying. There was not an advanced manual included in paper, only a CD version. If I did not have the help of 3 other people setting up this TV would have been impossible without some sort of damage happening somewhere. The stand was really hard to figure out how to set up without a manual. The TV is much heavier than it looks and gets harder to carry over time. Weighing the pro's and con's of this TV I would rate a 10/10.
