Movie review

I decided to choose the movie Act of Valor to critique. This is one of my favorite movies because it shows the true colors of military men and what they do to keep this country free and safe. People take the military for granted and treat them in a way they should not be treated. Military personnel deserve a lot more respect than what they get. They fight day and night and it is always for others. They fight for the people that cannot fight for themselves. Not only are they awake all day and all night waiting for a moment that they could be attacked and severely injured at any time. They also have to go through rigorous training. These men perform stunts that many people can’t even dream of doing. They jump out of planes from a height so high they need masks; they swim under water until their lungs cannot take anymore, and most of all they get shot at every day.
In the movie Act of Valor, the men who are acting are real Navy Seals. Seal team 7 did this movie to show people the truths about the military. Many people look at the military and think there pigs or people of little importance because they kill for a living. In all honesty most of the people say they don’t like killing people. They do what they need to do to stay alive and protect the land of the free and the home of the brave. The men in this movie have a lot of guts to do what they do and stay strong for their families. The hardest part about this job these men carry is that they live 2 completely different lives. They need to be really tough men and fight for what they love, but once they get home they have to put everything behind them and be fathers and husbands.
This is such an awesome movie to me because the men that sacrifice everything they have for people they don’t even know show by example the things that they do and try to prove to people that they are helping and they are keeping us safe.
