Australia - Post #4

Australia
If I could go anywhere in the world on a vacation, I would visit Australia. I think that anywhere in the country of Australia would be an amazing place to vacation in, because there are many beautiful areas to see. Australia has a bunch of different activities that you can do, and amazing sights to see. For example there is:
  1. The Great Barrier Reef: The Great Barrier Reef is located in the Coral Sea right off of the coast of Queensland. The Great Barrier Reef is listed as one of the seven wonders of the world, and is the only living thing that is visible from Earth's orbit. The Great Barrier Reef has some of the clearest waters in the world, which makes it a great area to go diving in.
  2. Sydney Harbor: The Sydney Harbor is known as the heart and soul of Sydney. Sydney Harbor is full of ferries, yachts, kayaks, and launches. People come to Sydney Harbor to sail, swim, dive, or just relax.
  3. Cape Leveque: Cape Leveque is located on the most northerly part of the Dampier Peninsula, in Western Australia's Kimberley region. Cape Leveque is a very remote, isolated paradise. Cape Leveque is home to many hidden beaches with many reefs that you can explore during low tide. You can view humpback wales just off the shore line between the October and July months. Or, you can explore the very blue waters by a glass bottom boat. Whatever you do, it will be a beautiful sight.

A trip to Sydney, Australia would cost about eight thousand dollars, if I was going to stay in a nice resort for about a week. This is a price for two people, since I would not want to go alone. This price includes two round trip flights, a car rental, and a one bedroom hotel room.

  1. Cora, Australia is beautiful. I would not mind going there myself. I feel there is a lot to do in Australia that it would need to be a very long vacation or multiple vacations. Australia is a completely different world with a lot of different customs and social normalities, I feel that there should be a long period of time spent in each city you visit to really absorb the culture. Australia has a lot of unique wildlife and marine life that people travel Australia to specifically to see these beautiful animals. The tourist attractions you list are few of thousands. Australia to me has always been on the top of my list to travel to. I see myself there almost every time I look at it, their is honestly so much that it has to offer especially the wildlife and all the great adventures people can do. This is one spot that will be always be on my list no matter what and a place that I will get to soon enough.

  2. Cora, Your dream destination looks beautiful and an interesting place to go to. The great barrier reef looks like it would be fun to explore and see some interesting sea creatures and beable to be up close to them. It would be also neat to visit Cape Leveque and go to the hidden beaches and secluded reefs among the paradise that it looks to be like.
